Mumbai: An age old custom, introduced by legendary Helen , dictates that viewers may send a champion girl to challenge ‘the most shapely’ female in the country in a series of trials. The challenge, issued to the Twitter Queen yesterday evening, compels Poonam to face Rakhi in a live contest. The demeaning but invariably well-attended contest opens with dressage-style events, in which the two ladies are required to walk, climb steps and hop over small obstacles while wearing tight skirts.
Poonam is expected to take more points in those stages but will face tougher competition from her rival in later events like the Mujra (traditional dancing) , spanking and item numbers.
The duel concludes with both competitors clad in tightclothes , disporting themselves to the music of artist Vishal -Shakher before a judging panel including Bollywood royalty , fashionistas and celebrity magazine editors.
News Asia correspondent Nikhil Iyer said: “Miss Pandey’s petit but perfectly formed body versus the famous Rakhi Sawant trunk full o’ junk is the what the public have been screaming to see. Shake that shit, Poonam!”
A loss for Poonam could mean economic disaster for the Bank of India, which has secured 50 billion rupees of loans to the Indian economy using the world-class peachiness of Poonam’s body as security.
